About Me
Through tutoring, I share my passion for the sciences - particularly Chemistry
and Biology - with students who want to strengthen their understanding. I began tutoring
three years ago and have found it to be a deeply rewarding experience, benefiting not
only my students but also my own growth as a communicator.
My approach is hands-on: I encourage students to work through concepts with my
guidance, focusing on areas that need improvement. We then dive into those topics in
depth, using targeted, exam-style questions to reinforce understanding. As exams
approach, I shift lessons toward exam strategies and past papers to build confidence and
exam readiness. Since every student learns differently, I tailor my teaching methods to
each individual’s strengths, drawing on a variety of learning resources.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the violin and saxophone, as well as
exploring my interest in geography.

Zara - Student
“I am a former student of Vedang's, he helped me with biology in grade 11 and 12 for the IB. I would say one of the things I enjoyed most about having tutoring with him is unlike some of my other tutors, he is also young, and has been through the IB recently too, so he understands the workload. He also guided me by telling me what he found useful and patterns that may come up in the exams.
Another point is that he is open to adapting to your way of learning, I for example need to understand the broad simpler explanations first then can try and learn the details, and he adapted to this with no hesitation. Vedang went over the same work with me that I didn't understand time and time again explaining in different ways and drawing pictures until I got it. Lastly, Vedang is a tutor that cares about your success and encourages his students to get the best grade they can, highly recommended!"
