I am a newly qualified Teacher of English at a leading private school in South East London. As well as being a qualified teacher, I have been a tutor for over 5 years and have worked with a wide range of students, both in terms of age and ability. 

I appreciate that English can sometimes feel daunting, so my sessions will prioritise the student’s core understanding of the subject and focus on boosting their confidence, which will hopefully lead to a genuine love of English! After establishing the student’s strengths, weaknesses and interests, I will create engaging and personalised lessons that will combine a range of skills, including essay writing and exam technique. 

When I am not teaching or tutoring, I love to read, cook and travel. I have a Level 5 TEFL qualification which was sparked by my love of English, travelling and meeting new people around the world!
