About Me
I’m Oliver, studying astrophysics at the University of Bristol. Having younger siblings, I’ve always been helping them with coursework and studying for exams, hence from an early age I realised that one of the most rewarding things is teaching. I am passionate about making learning an enjoyable experience, and I aim to teach in a way which makes the most complex problems seem ridiculously simple! I strongly believe that all students learn differently, therefore my approach to teaching is different for each student. I also make sure to constantly check understanding by asking questions and providing feedback. I can appreciate Mathematics and Physics can be quite intimidating, but I’m confident I can make them seem like the easiest subjects ever!

Jonathan - Parent
“I have known Oliver Knifton (Ollie) since he was 10, as we were neighbours and then close friends with his parents. We remain so.
Ollie is someone we have watched grow up into a mature, trustworthy and likeable young man. He has babysat on very many occasions for our children, over the years; looking after them from when they were 3 up to 13. Throughout that time he has always been dependable and punctual and always treated us (and our children) respectfully and kindly.
He would be an excellent tutor, as he is patient and focussed. He did well in his A levels, so will also bring his undoubted academic abilities and engage brilliantly with students generally."
