About Me
I have been teaching for over six years, supporting students at various academic levels. In addition to one-to-one tutoring, I ran group sessions throughout 2023/2024, specifically tailored for GCSE students. These sessions allowed me to support a larger cohort with diverse learning needs while maintaining individual focus. Following these sessions, I also organised a football activity, which helped to build rapport with students and provide a positive outlet outside of academics. Having recently completed my A-Levels, I remain up to date with the curriculum and have extensive knowledge of major exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA, and OCR. Over the years, I have consistently helped students to not only meet but often exceed their target grades, and I find immense fulfilment in their progress and achievements.
I take a highly personalised approach to tutoring, ensuring lessons are tailored to the individual goals and learning style of each student. My in-depth understanding of Edexcel, AQA, and OCR exam boards allows me to prepare students for specific requirements and develop effective strategies for exam success. I aim to create an engaging and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable tackling challenges. To reinforce understanding, I provide bespoke homework tasks and remain available for additional questions between sessions. My ultimate goal is to help students build confidence, foster a love of learning, and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their academic journey and beyond.
I’m currently in my second year studying for an MEng in General Engineering at King’s College London. My passion for teaching began over six years ago and has grown stronger with every student I’ve worked with. Outside of tutoring, I’m an enthusiastic problem-solver and enjoy hands-on engineering projects. Running football sessions alongside group GCSE tutoring in 2023/2024 helped me build strong connections with students and balance academic progress with physical activity. In my free time, I enjoy exploring cuisines, hiking, and staying active, which keeps me inspired and energised in all aspects of my life. I bring this same energy to my tutoring sessions, always aiming to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
