About Me

I have been teaching privately for over six years, supporting students across a wide range of subjects and academic levels. I tutor Maths, English, all three Sciences and Geography, at GCSE, as well as Maths, Physics, and Economics at A-Level. Whilst in the first year of my A-levels, I also taught a GCSE class, gaining valuable experience in managing group learning while maintaining a personalised approach. In addition to this, I tutor younger students preparing for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams and am open to teaching primary school students as well. My students have consistently achieved excellent results, often exceeding their target grades.
 

My approach to tutoring centres on clarity, confidence, and curiosity. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorising methods, using examples that connect abstract ideas to practical situations. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and preferred way of learning, ensuring that every topic feels approachable and rewarding. I often set short, focused tasks between sessions to reinforce understanding and build momentum. Above all, I aim to create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, confident in tackling challenges, and motivated to reach beyond their goals.

Having recently completed my A-Levels, I’m fully up to date with the current curriculum and understand what students need to excel in their exams. I focus on making lessons engaging and tailored to each student’s individual goals, with an emphasis on building confidence and deepening understanding. I also provide targeted homework and offer ongoing support between sessions to reinforce learning.
 

I achieved three A*s in Mathematics, Physics, and Economics at A-Level, and nine Grade 9s at GCSE, including Maths, Sciences, and English Language, alongside top grades in other subjects. I’m currently on a gap year, dedicated to expanding my teaching experience and helping students achieve their best. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy problem-solving, coding, and playing football - interests that help me stay creative and bring fresh energy to every lesson.
