About Me
Currently studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, I have developed a strong foundation in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. I aim to make these subjects not only accessible but also enjoyable for students, helping them approach complex problems with confidence rather than stress. With two years of experience tutoring Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for the reformed GCSE/IGCSE syllabus, I have a comprehensive understanding of exam requirements and the challenging topics students often face.
My approach begins with a tailored benchmark assessment to identify each student's strengths and weaknesses. This is followed by a detailed discussion to work through the syllabus point by point using the RAG (Red, Amber, Green) system, allowing us to prioritize areas where the student feels less confident. I also provide guidance on exam techniques and revision strategies, assigning targeted homework to consolidate learning. Many of my students see improvements in both confidence and grades, with some moving up sets at school or achieving their target grades well ahead of schedule.
Outside of my studies and tutoring, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, cooking, and hiking. I also actively participate in debating and Model UN, which fuel my interests in politics and public speaking.
