About Me
With a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol, I bring over nine years of invaluable tutoring expertise to my students. Specialising in GCSE/KS3 Mathematics and Sciences, I am committed to empowering students with the tools they need to excel and cultivate confidence in their abilities. Being part of the first cohort to face the new GCSE (1-9) format, I possess a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum and examination style.
Over the past nine years, I have helped a diverse range of students across various age groups and skill levels. I have provided unwavering support in their educational journey, aiding them in revision techniques and exam strategies. I have also led several intensive GCSE revision group courses, which remain effective, engaging, and immensely popular. I consider tutoring to be incredibly fulfilling, especially witnessing students frequently exceed their target grades.
I firmly believe that patience, adaptability, and encouragement form the cornerstone of productive and enjoyable sessions. Through my years of experience, I've embraced a multitude of teaching methodologies to ensure students remain engaged, always tailoring my approach to suit their unique needs. I often assign work between sessions, tailored to each student's schedule, fostering independence and offering a chance for continual assessment of comprehension. Moreover, I remain accessible to students for any questions or clarifications outside of sessions, whether related to assigned work or school homework.
